Athena W Carey is an expatriate living in SE Asia with her husband and two young sons.
Her interest in photography was sparked at age nine, when her parents sent her abroad with a small point & shoot camera to visit her godparents.
In the many years since then, Athena has moved on through many cameras, various types of photography, and different medias. She enjoys everything photographic - from creating casual, artistic portraits of people to abstract macro art.
To share her love of photography with others, Athena also teaches courses locally.
